Gold Thread S100

Our Gold Thread collection is a slightly softer cloth than our 3 Red Stripes. Using Super 100's wool instead of Super 80's, this fabric gives the wearer a more luxurious feel whilst retaining all the inherent sturdiness of an English cloth. It comprises three qualities, a Spring/Summer Tropical Weave in a Clear Cut Finish, an Autumn/Winter 2x2 Twill Weave in a Clear Cut and a Semi-Milled Finish.

Since the 1960's Hield has pioneered the semi-milled finish which is an art that raises the wool hairs slightly to give a feel and look delicately balanced between a clear cut and a flannel finish. Very Hield. Very British.
